In collaboration with Harvest Entertainment we were instrumental in creating a world first; an alternative pop artist – from Siberia.

In 2014 we introduced POLYNA, a 25 year-old singer/songwriter with a fascinating past. She originally hails from a ‘dark town’ in Siberia – one that doesn’t appear on any map – a Plutonium mining town.

Following a very successful career in Moscow’s artistic community, she moved to East London, where she prepared to release her debut album, a collection of Arctic, frosted art-pop with emotional and sometimes dramatic intimacy. The album was produced by Jonas Quant (Hurts, No Doubt), engineered and mixed by multiple Grammy winning Phil Tan and Dan Grech (Liam Gallagher, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Lana Del Rey and Radiohead). ‘Angel’ also featured a massive club mix produced by EDM superstar, Nicky Romero.

We were involved from very early in the process, creating, shaping and guiding every visual aspect of the project across all disciplines from identity, styling and photography to music video. Our concept was translated into a magical frozen landscape, between worlds for debut music video, ‘Angel’. Our hand-picked team comprised a group of very talented collaborators, Dawn Shadforth, Oscar Nominated DP Robbie Ryan (The Favorite -2017, Poor Things 2023) Photographers Simon Emmett and Jez Tozer, stylist Anna Trevelyan (Lady Gaga) and choreographer Aaron Sillis (FKA Twigs, Kylie).

We started with identity; creating the logotype and bespoke typeface ‘POLYNA’ as well as a complete set of brand guidelines.

The music video for Polyna’s first single ‘Angel’ achieved over 600,000 views on YouTube. At the time of writing, Polyna’s management are in talks with two of the major labels.
